George Szabo

Co-founder & CEO

George has both a deep technical and business background and was recruited at the birth of the public internet to work with teams at Universal on strategies to deal with the threats posed by Napster, MP3 and the digital evolution of the music industry. It was this experience that galvanized his belief that the best way to deal with technology is to ride the wave and harness the power rather than to fight it and be crushed. Since then he has focused on deploying new tech trends ahead of the industry curve to help companies from many sectors gain a competitive edge and improve and evolve the way people work.

Zaheer Ali

Co-founder & Chief Science Officer

Trained extensively as a Physicist to do scientific research which has resulted in patents, an R&D 100 award, and over 40 authored or co-authored publications. He has managed teams and programs for the US Department of Energy’s Nevada Test Site and co-founded the National Center for Nuclear Security, worked as a Principal Investigator and Shot Director at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics of the University of Rochester and consulted as a micro/nano device (MEMS) engineer. Mr. Ali is also the founder of Coast Agile and co-founder of AWG Solutions and a Ted Talks presenter.

Lisa Rosenthal, CFA

Chief Financial Officer

Lisa has acted as CFO and Controller for a diverse set of startups guiding them through various phases of growth and investment. Beginning her career at The Walt Disney Company, Lisa worked across diverse financial functions in Corporate Finance and Treasury. She has a BA in Economics from University of California at Berkeley, an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jose San Mateo

Communications Director

Jose has more than a decade of marketing and content creation for clients like Digital Media First among others. Jose covered prep sports in Northern California for DFM before joining its team of graphic designers at the NorCal Design Center which serviced 14 different daily publications across the region. With strong understanding of AIXIA and the solutions we have to offer Jose heads our marketing team in the development and design of AIXIA solutions and engagements.

Jonathan Wong

Director Global Deployments

Jonathan has deployed critical technology solutions around the world for the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, NASA, and several commercial enterprises including HP, Opsware, and Alta Vista. He has a degree in business combined with over 25 years of experience in IT hardware management and implementations. Focused on optimized infrastructure to power AIXIA's unique 3rd wave AI solutions stacks.

Matthew Enga

VP Engineering

Currently spearheading AIXIA's advanced embedded systems, autonomous drone and Robotics efforts, Matt has hundreds of missions under his belt based on his multi-faceted engineering background. Working on NASA’s Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) Project he managed, designed and tested flight systems that helped successfully launch the airborne observatory. Matt has also provided mission critical flight leadership, electronics design work and support to critical missions and teams at the Armstrong Flight Research Center. Matt is a member of the IEEE and has held TS/SCI clearance as a crypto-linguist for the US army.

Mike Miller

Director Public Safety
& Threat Intelligence

More than 2 decades working with the U.S. Military and Law Enforcement protecting the public and dealing with threats around the globe. Trained in patrol techniques, undercover operations, investigations, crime prevention and mitigation, homeland security, emergency management and Critical Infrastructure Protection. Including a Masters Degree in Public Administration and certifications in emergency management by FEMA. Mike has hands on experience with search and rescue operations and a deep understanding of AI as it pertains to the area of public safety and threat intelligence.
